tl;dr I have IIDX and Drummania and a MAME cabinet. I have an open door policy but you need to contact me first before comingHello, your friendly neighborhood Piano Man here. WTF-IIDX is the rag-tag collection of Bemani games I own and run in my house. Currently I have IIDX and Drummania (along with a MAME cab), and I'm hoping to have DDR or Technika by the end of 2010.
I have an open door policy with the machines. As long as I, or one of my roommates, know that you are coming and one of us will be home you can come over and rock out anytime. We're typically available 7 days a week from around 3:00pm until 4:00am. Depending if people have to work a morning shift, sometimes we do shut down early, and while we don't mind allowing long distance drivers to spend the night, we need know about this at least 3 days in advance.
We do not charge to play, and kindly ask that you considering donating towards machine upkeep and upgrades. Also, we have food and drinks, but soda is our biggest expense, so please chip in if you find yourself pounding down Dews. We don't mind photos and videos, and in fact encourage it. I'm hoping to have footage of anyone that comes over to hang out and play with us.
As far as tournaments are concerned,
our first score attack tournament is ongoing; you can read about it here! I'm hoping to have at least two tournaments a month. The tournaments would be ongoing score attack tournaments and some wildcard surprises ("Wait, we're playing Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game?!")
So, if you want visit us, just shoot me a PM/IM/email/carrier pigeon and I'll arrange to be home to meet, greet, and welcome you to our crazy house. Also, please feel free to post questions about our location in this thread. I'll be updating this title post as details change. One last thing worth noting is we do have an indoor cat, in case you have allergies.
Take care and be safe,
Piano Man
