June is TOWER DEFENSE MONTHGAME OF THE WEEK:
Plants Vs. ZombiesPlatform:
PC/Mac/iPhone/iPadRemember my model of Maze-type versus Sideline-type? Ditch the model, because
Plants vs. Zombies doesn't clearly fit into either type. Zombies are attacking your house, and all you can do to defend yourself is to plant things in your yard that will defend you.

First they attack the front yard in daylight. Then night falls and you get access to a series of new plants. Then the sun rises and they change their focus to the backyard, where you now have to deal with the pool in the way. Night falls again, and the backyard becomes foggy. Finally, they attack from the roof, where you have to place flowerpots.

By the end of the game, you'll have unlocked nearly 50 plants and seen over 2 dozen varieties of zombie.

Apparently there's only one other human survivor of this zombie uprising. He's Crazy Dave, and he provides advice and will sell you things once you find the keys to his car.

Once you beat story mode the first time, if you decide to play story mode again when you have all the plants unlocked, Crazy Dave picks 3 at random for you to use in each wave.
If replaying story mode isn't your thing, there's 20+ mini-games to unlock and play, including Wall-Nut Bowling, Whack-a-Zombie and Vasebreaker, and some based on other PopCap games like Bejeweled and Feeding Frenzy.
